A passionate performer with a diverse journey, Larissa’s love for the arts has been a lifelong pursuit. If you had asked her what she wanted to be as a child, she would have screamed out “actress” at the top of her lungs. Although she strayed away from this and pursued other studies. She eventually made her way back to pursuing a full-time career in acting and film, making her younger self proud!

From a young age, she was immersed in the world of dance, competing in multiple disciplines—hip hop, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre—starting at just three years old. Dance became not only a form of self-expression but also a foundation for what would evolve into a passion for a career in the performing arts. Throughout her youth, Larissa trained relentlessly at multiple dance studios in British Colombia and Nova Scotia, eventually becoming an apprentice dancer for *The WOODS* performing dance team, where she honed both technical skill and stage presence. 

Larissa also pursued academics, studying Biology at Queen’s University and graduating with honours. The combination of creative passion and academic achievement showcases her ability to balance both the artistic and analytical sides of life. After graduation, Larissa sought new experiences abroad, moving to Thailand where she taught Junior High and High School science. Larissa was a part of the acting committee at her Thai School, writing a live play that would win awards at the Junior High level in Thailand, reopening her eyes to the performing arts and acting. Living in Thailand and backpacking through Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe, opened her eyes to diverse cultures, perspectives, and most importantly, a community of talented, creative individuals who inspired a new path.

The energy and stories of the people Larissa encountered while traveling reignited a deep passion for acting. Inspired by the creative world around her, Larissa returned home with a clear goal: to pursue acting and share stories that move, entertain, and inspire. This journey began with humble steps and navigating the unknown—working background roles, enrolling in acting classes, and participating in student short films—all while continuing to work behind the scenes in various crew roles, including AD, Costumes, SPFX, and Stand-In. These hands-on experiences deepened her understanding of the industry and fueled an insatiable desire to learn more.

In just over a year, Larissa has made great strides in the acting world. After signing with her wonderful agent, Delinda, she has been able to fully dedicate herself to the craft, securing her first few on-screen credits. Now, as a full-time actor and crew member, Larissa feels incredibly fortunate to be able to work on both sides of the camera, gaining invaluable experience along the way.

As she continues to grow and evolve in this industry, Larissa remains grateful for the incredible opportunities to create, learn, and collaborate with like-minded individuals. Every step of this journey has been an exciting new chapter, and she is eager to see where this adventure leads next.
